OPEN HOMES DISCIPLESHIP
The men learn to acclimate to the daily discipline that will be required of them throughout the program. In addition, they learn to find refuge from the chaos that drugs and alcohol have brought to their lives. Each man begins to learn how to live a new life in Christ.
The men are required to get employment, have responsibility in the dorms, and with their “younger brothers” as they enter the program. Upon entering second phase, clients will be required to pay program fees on a weekly basis. Our program fees and are expected to tithe.
We typically ask for a one–three-month commitment. Any further commitment will be discussed and determined on an individual basis. Once accepted, you are required to live in Open Homes housing, attend two classes per week, one of which is small groups, and attend church on Sunday

When was the last time you sat and just dreamed? I’m not talking about fantasizing, which is a short escape into a place with no correlation to real life (not that there’s anything wrong with that occasionally). I’m talking about dreaming of doing the things that are...
I was talking with a friend the other day and he mentioned that he was “waiting for the other shoe to drop.” Something good had happened in his life, and instead of fully enjoying what had happened, he was waiting for something else to happen that would put a damper...
“Time to make the donuts.” Have you ever made that statement before going to work? It comes from an advertising campaign launched by Dunkin’ Donuts that lasted almost two decades. It has become a way of expressing boredom or discontent with our daily work routine. But...

Hello and welcome. I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and New Year season. Now it’s time to buckle down and implement some of those things you thought about starting or changing this year. It’s a common belief that it takes at least 21 days to form a habit,...
Hello and welcome. I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and you’re looking forward to the New Year. This is a great time to take a personal inventory of the things you would like to see continue in the next year, as well as the things you would like to see change....
How May We Pray For You?
Is anyone among you sick? Then he must call for the elders of the church and they are to pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer offered in faith will restore the one who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up, and if he has committed sins, they will be forgiven him. Therefore, confess your sins to one another, and pray for one another so that you may be healed The effective prayer of a righteous man can accomplish much.
If you would like our prayer team to pray for you or a loved one please enter your prayer request below. We will join with you in praying for your request. Please also enter any praise reports if your prayer has been answered after our team prayed for you. We love to hear what God is doing in people’s lives!
